Navigation 12 million places to go: Ready for a new place to eat—drink—dance—shop? At your fingertips is a huge database with information on 12 million Points of Interest (POIs) in the U.S. and Canada, complete with addresses and phone numbers. Just run a quick search, find what you want, and go there. Need to find a store or make a dinner reservation? Use the easy touch screen to search the database for the store’s address or the restaurant’s phone number.
Entertainment Now that you know where you’re going, get there in style. Play DVD movies on a fully motorized—and customizable—touch screen. Or CDs, custom-mixed MP3s, and XM Radio. The AVIC-N2 is a full-octane mobile A/V system with nearly limitless entertainment possibilities.
Performance If you’re into performance, then show it. The AVIC-N1 provides full-color gauges—another industry first—that display your vehicle’s performance on-screen. Monitor your vehicle’s performance with eight different Vehicle Dynamic Displays (VDDs) shown on a motorized touch-screen.
Safety Rear-View Camera-Ready: Install the optional ND-BC1 Back-Up Camera to activate this capability of the AVIC-N1. There are two rear-view modes: while you're in reverse gear the rear-view camera mode is full-screen, perfect for backing into a tight parking space; in forward gears you can also see what’s behind you with a rear-view split screen (it displays both the navigation map and the rear-view camera image) - for keeping an eye on your trailer as you navigate the roads.
